Requesting a Food Hamper

Distribution

After your request is processed by FCSS, you will be assigned a pickup time within the Hamper Distribution hours listed below and you may collect your food hamper at:

Special Arrangements for Christmas

  • During the festive season, requests for Christmas hampers are managed directly by the Cochrane Activettes.
  • Contact Information: Details and phone numbers will be published in local newspapers, on our website, and are available from the food bank at 403-932-9290 or Cochrane FCSS at 403-851-2250.
  • Distribution Day: Handed out on a Saturday before Christmas.

Yes, donations are greatly appreciated. You can donate food, funds, or volunteer your time. Food donations can be dropped off at local grocery stores in Cochrane, and monetary donations can be made through various platforms detailed on our ways to help page.

  • Drop off non-perishable food items in the bins at local grocery stores (Safeway, Save On, No Frills, and Walmart).
  • Ensure the items are within their best before dates for quality assurance.
