Empty Bowls Program

The Cochrane Food Bank partners annually with Saffron Studio in Cochrane to run a program initiated by the studio’s owner, which raises funds by selling handmade pottery crafted from leftover clay.  Except for covering a portion of the electricity costs associated with firing the pottery, all funds raised through the sale of the pottery are donated to the Food Bank.
